In its simplest form, a battering ram is just a large , heavy log carried by several people and propelled with forces against an obstacle; the ram would be sufficient to damage the target if the log were massive enough and/or it were moved quickly enough, i.e. had enough momentum.

The Cay
Since we starded school my class has been reading a book called The Cay. It is about a 12 year old boy named Phillip who is American but lives in the Caribbean because his father works for the oil refinery there. It’s during a war with the Germens. When Phillip’s mom wanted back to Virginia because it was safer, they left on a boat. When they were on the boat they got turpitude and then Phillip was stranded on a little raft with an old man named Timothy.
Phillip is a little boy that has lived in Willemstad almost his whole life. When his dad went of to work he and his pal Henrik van Boven to Fort Amsterdam to look out to sea.
When the war starded he ran over to his house and his mom and dad were putting on the black out covers over the light so when air plans flew over they wouldn’t turpitude them.
Timothy is an old man that was trapped with Phillip on the small raft. He was like a sailor his whole life and when he met Phillip he did not like him at all.
So when Phillip and Timothy were on the raft for almost 3 days Timothy saw an Island. When they were going to the Island Phillip got excited and fell over the raft and the sharks came but Timothy went and rescud him.
